Dr. Kim Schulz, MD, FAAD
Dr. Kim Schulz, MD, FAAD is the founder of Alkemē Aesthetics & Dermatology, a practice focused on the integration of medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and evidence-based aesthetic treatments.
With more than 25 years of clinical experience in dermatology and cosmetic medicine, Dr. Schulz has developed a practice centered on individualized, diagnosis-driven treatment planning. Her approach emphasizes skin health, structural balance, and natural-appearing outcomes through the thoughtful application of both procedural and non-procedural therapies.
Dr. Schulz is triple board-certified in Dermatology, Family Medicine, and Venous & Lymphatic Medicine, providing a comprehensive clinical framework that informs both medical and aesthetic care. She has also completed a 9 month long Integrative Dermatology Certificate Program.
Her clinical areas of focus include:
- Regenerative Medicine and Integrative Dermatology
- Injectable therapies, including neuromodulators, natural biostimulatory fillers and dermal fillers, for facial balancing and volume restoration
- Topical and injectable biostimulatory treatments to support collagen remodeling and long-term tissue quality
- Laser and energy-based devices for skin resurfacing, unwanted pigment, scarring, and textural improvement
- Non-surgical body contouring and submental fat reduction
- Comprehensive skin health management, including preventative and maintenance strategies

Marissa Pickavance, RN
Marissa’s aesthetic approach is aligned with Dr. Schulz’ in that it is rooted in the belief that optimal outcomes come from balancing science, artistry, and whole-person care. Since beginning her nursing career in 2013 and joining Dr. Schulz’ team in 2018, she has developed a foundation in both clinical and cosmetic dermatology that informs a thoughtful and friendly patient care style that integrates both clinical and cosmetic dermatology. As a Nurse Injector, Marissa is a rising star who delivers natural looking outcomes that are medically guided, allowing patients to look refreshed, confident, and authentically themselves.
